September 25th, on Luke 5: 1-11

Let us Pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy.

O Lord You are the God of Love and Mercy. You have given all things to us including Your Son who trampled on death and gave us eternal life. Your chosen Apostles were shown Your love when they fished all night and caught nothing. You told them to cast their nets on the other side and their boats were full of fish. We pray that through your Love for us You will fill our church with converts so that we may be astonished like St. Peter and say, depart from us for we are sinful people. May we forsake all and follow You. We pray in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit

September 17th, Prayer of the week for Our Nation

Let us Pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy.

Heavenly Father, we stand before the face of the evil one. You promised to deliver us from him. Vengeance is Yours O Lord. Today we cry out with fear and trembling, stretch out your right hand and defend us against our enemies through Jesus Christ our Lord. We pray earnestly for our leaders -- our President, Congress, Military and Caregivers. Guide them as the confront this evil with courage. Turn our bitterness, sorrow and despair unto submission to Your will so that we can face this trial bravely. As we pass through the valley of death lead us into Your green pastures.

We pray for all those who have departed this life today. Forgive them any sin they have committed and receive them as innocent children. Be with their families in this time of grief. Help us as a nation to bear their burden.

May we live today and tomorrow committed to You even in this grave moment of our History. May Your kingdom come so that all sorrow and sighing may flee away and we will live eternally at peace. We pray in the Name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit. Amen

September 4th, Prayer of the week for the blessing a new cemetery from the book of needs

Let us Pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy.

O Lord God, by whose mercy the souls of the faithful find rest, we pray fervently: Send down Your Holy Angel as the guardian of this cemetery and the place where their bodies will be buried, and be well-pleased to absolve their souls from the bonds of all their sins, that always together with all the Saints they may be glad in You forever. O God Almighty, Pre-eternal Father, and Most-Holy Lord, Who is the Sanctification of every place and He that makes them better places, from whom and by Whom every blessing comes down from Heaven to earth: Do be well-pleased to purify, bless and sanctify this place, that this cemetery be a place of sweet sleep and repose for the bodies of them that have departed, and shall be buried here, and let it be filled with the everlasting sweetness of Your delight. And may Your servants that have fallen asleep abide today in the Jerusalem on high, rejoicing and making glad, until the great day of Judgment, when they will receive back their own bodies from the graves, and so they may be able to go together, with the fruits of their good deeds, to meet the Lord coming for judgment. For You are the Resurrection, the Life and the Repose of Your servants who have fallen asleep, and unto You we send up glory: to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen
