Religious education is the responsibility of every member of the Body of Christ. Not only is each member a teacher, but each member is a learner as well. With this understanding, our parish community strives to offer every opportunity for each soul to experience a full life in the Church. Our worship services, fellowship activities, charitable endeavors, and educational classes all blend together to form the education ministry.

Father Alexander Schmemann stated, "The aim of all religious teaching in the Orthodox Church is to introduce the child or the adult into the Church, to integrate him into her life - the life of grace, communion with God, love, unity and spiritual progress towards eternal salvation, for such are the essential aims of the Church." With these words in mind, truly we are presented with an awesome challenge!

Job Description

Oversee (1) Christian Education, (2) Youth, (3) Resource, (4) Adult Education, (5) Junior Olympics (6) Icon information, (7) Movie Club and any other ministry which may be established for the maintenance and growth of the parish's overall educational program. Represent the mentioned ministries on the parish council. Submit monthly reports from the respective ministries to the Parish Council.
