St. Luke Beautification Project Update

As many of you know due to the construction costs, there will be no funds let over for the finishing touches on the new building. Three programs have arisen to help defray these costs.

Thanks to all those who have donated. So far all eight classrooms have been donated and five of six of the bells. There is still however a long way to go.

1. Adopt a room. Individuals or groups of individuals can adopt one or more of the new rooms and donate the cost of furnishing these rooms. These rooms can be donated in the name of your favorite saint. Below is a list of the available rooms and their cost.

  • Pastor's Office $1500.00
  • Church Office Area/Reception $1500.00
  • Kitchen Area: We still need about 2000.00 for additional electric work and could use 2500.00 for some additional kitchen cabinets.
  • Basement/ Fellowship - Hall Tables(15 tables at $125.00 each)=$1875.00 - Chairs (120 at $35.00 each)=$4200.00, Coat Rack $600.00.

2. Bell FundAll of the bells have been donated, thanks to those who have helped.

3. Buy a Brick. The courtyard between the two buildings will be paved with bricks that may be inscribed with various messages and names. In addition to our parishioners, we would like to reach out beyond our own parish with this project. Bricks are 100.00 dollars each. More information will follow on this important project.

With the building construction drawing to a close, now is the time to help. Please feel free to contact any of these individuals, members of the parish council, or Father Andrew about these projects.

Also if you have pledged money to date, please begin to make plans to turn in your donations as the construction is rapidly finishing and we need to begin ordering these items.
