Since I am unable to attend as many services at St.Luke's as I would like to, I feel the maintenance ministry has afforded me the opportunity of helping the church in a small way and being part of St.Luke's family.

Job Description

Is responsible for overseeing the physical well being of the Church building and property: To see to such repairs as may become necessary and to apprise the Parish Council of the need of any major expenditures which he/she believes to be necessary. Is in charge of the work of any employees or contractors hired to work on building or grounds and evaluates the work of work crews and/or volunteers. Supervises judicious use of utilities (heating, cooling, electric, phone), pest control lawn and landscaping and housekeeping. Responsible for fire extinguishers and compliance for fire regulations.
