Cemetery/Memorial Book

Director of Cemetery, Rosyln Stevens.

Name: Rosyln Stevens
Job: Funeral Coordinator and Cemetery Facilitator
Email: roslynstevens@lycos.com

An important part of the St. Luke future vision has been to acquire it's own dedicated cemetery section within a cemetery near it's Palos Hills church location. In 2001, this dream became reality, with the purchase of 54 lots in the Willow Springs Fairmont-Willow Hills Cemetery. Many lots have already been sold to faithful Orthodox, and we have also erected an Orthodox Cross monument for placement within our designated section of the cemetary. The purchase of additional sections is now being considered.

As part of my responsibilities, I must at times converse with grieving families. I pray that God will grant me the sensitivity to sympathize and empathize in the midst of the bereavement of others, and that I can always serve Him well in spirit and in truth
