Food, Football, and Fellowship
June 3rd, 2001

On June 3rd, St. Luke held it's annual picnic. Even the chilly temperatures didn't slow down the festivities. A lavish BBQ was catered along with an extensive sweets table. Our little parishioners had games, prizes, a pinyata, and even a clown that made ballon figures and did face paintings. After a spirited football game (which proves that the Chicago Bears got nothing to fear from St. Luke), softball was next on the list. Even Father Andrew got into the swing of things. Lookout Sammy Sosa. Karen Verderber won the Raffle for the DVD player. A great time was had by all. Thanks and congradulations go out to all those running this event.

Lot's of stuff happening...

Ready, Set, Off to the Junior Olympics

Team St. Luke... Our soccer team goes for the goal. The girls swim team pauses for a picture.

St. Luke participated in the Greek Junior Olympics hosted by St. Constantine and Helen. Here are some glimpses of the action.

Hello. Sammy gets ready to jump in. Go, Go, Go.
