Thursday March 27th 2014 - Prayer of the week on the Sunday of the Cross

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord we falter under the crosses You have placed upon us. Give us the strength to bare them as You bore Your cross. By doing so You give us the gift of our own resurrection. May our suffering bring us closer to You and open up our hearts for Your dwelling. We pray in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen

Thursday March 20th 2014 - Prayer of the week on the writings of St. Gregory

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord we pray that You will help us to obtain godlike virtues by prayer, praise and thanksgiving so we can commune with You, unite ourselves to You so far as this is possible, and be in a fitting state to receive Your uncreated light. We pray in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit Amen.

Thursday March 13th 2014 - Prayer of the week on John 1: 43-51

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord You opened up the windows into the Kingdom of heaven by Your Incarnation. Angels ascend and descend upon You. We can see our destiny. Wake us up, for our life is fleeting away with vain desires and pursuits. The road is now open for You have pointed the way. May we begin our journey so we can see the Angels as we enter into Your kingdom. We pray in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen
