Monday June 24th, 2013 - Prayer of the Week on Pentecost John 7:37-52, 8:12

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

On day of Pentecost when we celebrate Your decent upon the Apostles, may we also receive You, O Holy Spirit, to Your fullness. Grant us Your power to spread the Apostolic Faith to the ends of the earth and even do greater things. Help us not to be self absorbed so we can receive You as Comforter and Spirit of truth. We pray in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit Amen.

Monday June 17th, 2013 - Prayer of the Week on Father's Day - John 17:1-13

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord, You gave us an example of the role of fatherhood when you prayed to Your Father for us. You prayed that we would be kept faithful. You guard us so we will not fall under the power of the Evil One. You made us holy by the word of Your truth. We celebrate the joy You have with Your Father. May we experience the same joy in our families. We pray in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit Amen.

Monday June 10th, 2013 - Prayer of the Week on the healing of the blind man - John 9:1-38

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord You created mankind out of the dust of the earth and blew into him Your Holy Spirit. He became a living soul. You took the dust of the earth, filled it with living water which came from your mouth in the form of spit and recreated the eyes of the blind man. You made him see your divinity. You showed him and us that You are the light of the world. Grant O Lord that we may also see, believe and worship You in spirit and in truth. We pray in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen!
