Wednesday August 31st, 2011 - Prayer of the Week Matthew 18:23-35

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord, forgive us our debts as we forgive others theirs. As we are forgiven so may we forgive those who have wronged us. Grant us freedom from the slavery of anger, resentment and vengeance. Let not these feelings and behaviors deprive us of Your kingdom. We pray in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Wednesday August 24th, 2011 - Prayer of the Week on Matt. 17:14-23

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

Heavenly father, You have shown Your self emptying love for us by sending Your Son to into this world to suffer and to die and rise again on the third day. We are a generation of people who lack faith. Help us to increase our faith through good works, prayer and fasting so we can move mountains and experience your Love. We pray in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen

Monday August 15th, 2011 - Prayer of the Week for the Dormition of Mary

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy

O Lord, the universe dances with joy at the glorious memorial of Your Mother. We are called to dance and clap with gladness, fervor, jubilation and singing with exaltation. May we put aside all earthly cares and join with the angels in this celebration of Your Mother's life and her assumption into heaven. We pray in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen
