Friday April 18th, 2008 - Prayer of the Week on Mark 10:32-45.

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have mercy.

O Lord, You died on the cross and descended into Hell to defeat the Evil One. You have given us the power to overcome his temptation by prayer and fasting. Now as we are preparing to celebrate this great event pray that we will remember the way to true discipleship is to become a servant for You said whoever wishes to be first shall be the slave of all for You came to serve not to be served and to give Your life as a ransom for all. We pray in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit Amen.

Friday April 11th, 2008 - Prayer of the Week.

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have mercy.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.

Friday April 4th, 2008 - Prayer of the Week on the Sunday of the Veneration of the Cross.

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have mercy.

O Lord You showed us the sign of Your Cross by references, prophecies and symbols in the Old Testament. We can see that You were preparing us so we could understand the meaning of Your sacrificial death on the cross at Golgatha. Your sacrifice was perfect and the shedding of Your Blood cleansed us and restored us to the spiritual life that Adam lost. Today we venerate Your Cross and pray that we will know its power to help us over come evil and to proclaim Your Name to the ends of the earth. We pray in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit Amen.
