Monday, October 27th, 2003 - Prayer of the Week on Luke 16: 19-31.

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have mercy!

O Lord You created the sun and moon and gave us this earth to offer back to You in prayer and thanksgiving. We have kept it for ourselves and used it to provide us with luxury and sumptuous living.

You are everywhere and are even present in Hell. We pray that You will not send us there because of our greed. When someone like Lazarus enters our life may we see him as sent by You to warn us of our impending future. May we give generously so that the fire of Your light and Glory will fill us as we accept the reward as wise and faithful stewards. We pray in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit Amen.

Thursday, October 23rd, 2003 - Prayer of the Week on Epistle to Jude.

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have mercy!

O Lord protect us from those who do not have the spirit of God and live according to ungodly lusts which cause divisions in family relationships. Help us to pray in the Holy Spirit for them and for us so that we will receive Your mercy and the gift of eternal life. Keep us all in Your love and prevent us from stumbling so that we can be to presented to the Glory of Your Father who is wise. To Him be glory, majesty, dominion and power now and forever. Amen

Monday, October 13th, 2003 - Prayer of the Week on Luke 7:11-16 & 2 Cor. 6:16 - 7:1.

Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have mercy!

O Lord Your love for us was expressed in the love you gave to the widow whose son died. You revealed Your power over death when You commanded the boy to arise. You presented him to his grieving mother. We know that You are not just a prophet but truly You are God who has come to His people. You promised us that we will be Your sons and daughters.

As Your sons and daughters we repent for the filthiness which we have permitted to enter our lives. We pledge with Your help to cleanse ourselves, our nation and protect the children from all pornography. You have warned us that if we cause any of Your little ones to sin we are in danger of having mill stones tied around our necks and being thrown into the sea. We pray in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit Amen.
