Sacristan Report January 2007 by Sub-deacon John Verderber

The year 2006 was a very exciting time of which we accomplished many projects. We were able to receive a new Processional Cross that was donated and 3 new Altar Robes which we purchased. My wish list for this year is to still purchase new candle holders to replace the old ones because it is very hard to clean them with brass polish and the shine is not there anymore. Last year we had an Altar Servers and Handmaiden bowling outing and pizza afterwards and everyone had a great time. We had a fund raiser spaghetti luncheon after Church for the purchase of the new Altar Servers robes. I am hoping that we can purchase a few more robes this year especially the small ones since we are having more and more young boys joining. I am very pleased and proud of the current Altar Server team and team leaders and am looking forward to serve with them this year.

Respectfully submitted

John J. Verderber
