I am pleased to serve God and help St. Luke Parish by heading this ministry.

Job Description

Assist the Lay Chairperson as requested and, in his/her absence, assume the Lay Chairperson's office. Automatically assumes the office of Lay Chairperson in the event of its vacancy. Responsible for heading a committee for organizing all stewardship programs. The committee shall consist of the priest, treasurer, and financial secretary and two appointed parish members . Responsible for obtaining materials necessary to maintain the pledge system. Responsible for submitting to the Council for approval a pledge letter to be sent to the Parish members. This should be submitted by the September meeting. A date in late November should be selected as Pledge drive Sunday and all pledges should be turned in by December 31st. Should work with the Financial Secretary and individual parishioners to insure that pledges are submitted and fulfilled on time as much as is possible. Responsible for parish safety. The Assistant Lay Chairperson also presides over the Strategic Planning and Homeless Ministries.
