Bell Ringers Ministry

Director of Bell Ringers Ministry, Bell Ringers.

Name: Bell Ringers
Job:Bell Ringers Ministry Leader
Email: lbetsanes@stlukeorthodox.com

Being Blessed by Bishop Job as the bell master of St. Luke was truly an honor. It is my job to call the parishioners to worship for the various services and feast days by the ringing of the bells. Each bell was Chrismated and named and their ‘voices’ are all unique. It has taken many years to learn how to turn their ‘voices’ into beautiful sound and it is also my job to teach others to do the same. I maintain the ropes and the bell tower and ensure the safety of the ringers who enter the top of the tower for Pascha and other special services. I am thankful to have been granted this ministry.

Job Description

Responsible for maintaining the ropes and the bell tower and the ringing of the bells for services. Also to teach others to do the same.
